Aqui apresentarei alguns dramas de 2000 a 2005. Tive de cortar alguns mas acredito que os que estão aqui já são bastante engraçados ;)

Sinopse: This story follows a young man named Makoto who lives in Ikebukuro West Gate Park, an area known for youth delinquency and gangs. In fact, one of Makoto's best friends from high school, Takeshi, is the "king" or leader, of one such gang, called the G-Boys. Makoto is known for being tough and smart, and while trying to solve the mystery of a friend's death, he finds himself a somewhat unwilling helper in many mysteries and problems of IWGP inhabitants. All the while, gang tension is mounting between his best friend's gang (which Makoto refuses to join) and a new gang, the "Black Angels."

Sinopse: The story is about a set of twin baby boys who were created/cloned in the laboratory as a part of gene altering/gene therapy experiment. One of the brothers, Sei, grew up to be an elite bio-chemistry scientist in America. He was assigned to a project where he has to travel to a small island in Japan to investigate an unidentified virus that is spreading on the island. By a freak of nature, he found out that he has a twin brother, Rin, whose evil, dark personality is entirely opposite of him.
What is going to happen when they finally meet face to face? WHat are their true identities? Why were they separated at birth, what other secrets are hidden from them? Does the fast spreading virus has anything to do with the twins? Who created them? And why?

Maiko Amamiya is a shrewd public prosecutor who has her eyes set on passing the exam to become a deputy prosecutor and tries her best to be noticed by her boss. Kuryu, on the other hand, after earning a reputation for doing top-notch work, is transferred to Amamiya's division, and finally opens his eyes to the possibility of promotion. Unfortunately, his unprecedented work behavior abruptly brings things to a halt. Although earning a reputation as a bad apple, the influence from Kuryu's strong pursuit of justice slowly begins to change things around him. This drama is filled with it all; love, laughs and lots of emotion.

Hito ni Yasashiku (2002)

Now the 3 of them live together in a house they call "Peace." It may sound like a nice place to live, but in actuality, it is closer to poverty than you can imagine. But even so, they bide by their motto of "a cheerful, fun, and funky" life.
Suddenly one day, they find a first grader, Akira, on their doorstep. With Akira, they find a letter from his mother that reads "please take care of him for a little while." The bad part, which they soon find out is that Akira isn't like them. He's been raised in a glass house, and is "soft," quiet unlike the 3 of them, which proves to change their lives as they once knew it.

Nota: Fiquei completamente surpreendida com este drama. Juro que esperava algo completamente diferente. Mas digo-vos, gostei muito deste drama. Há partes (especialmente lá para o final) que podiam ter sido mais desenvolvidas mas foi um drama bastante bom. Quem me dera que houvesse um remake mais actual, com efeitos especiais melhorzinhos e tudo!

Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003 (2003)

Sinopse: Hina, a student at Nikko High School, goes out one evening with her classmate Beniko. They get split up and Hina ends up in a strange meeting with a man named Ikumi in a game arcade. Ikumi doesn't seem to recognize Hina but the wheels of fate are slowly moving to reunite them in what is a passionate story of forbidden love.
Not just a remake of the 1993 version; it takes place at the same school, but with different characters and situations.
Nota: É a versão 2003 do drama que referi na publicação anterior... gostei imenso deste drama. Mais um com cenas realistas.

As for 20-year-old young man Taiyo Suzuki, however, he's had different aspirations all his life. Moved by his elderly nursery school teacher, Taiyo decided then and there that he too would also become one.
Now, having passed the nursery school teacher examination, bright-eyed and eager Taiyo is out to make his mark on a totally female-dominated world. Posted at the Himawari Nursery School to cover for another teacher on maternity leave, Taiyo has but a few short months to prove himself to the female teachers and children's mothers who are arrayed against him that he is every bit as capable as the women.
Nota: Ainda estou para perceber o o porquê de se referirem no MDL ao género "drama". Isto não tem drama nenhum, é a história de um educador de infância e das suas crianças... Claro que há problemas familiares aqui e ali mas é mais um drama escolar com professores do que o resto. Mais um drama onde os japoneses brilham!

Sinopse: Brother Beat does not fail to deliver. It's a touching story about a widowed mother of 3 boys. Despite being in a single parent home they all manage to work together and form a close family bond. All members contribute to the household in one way or another. The mother, Haru, works at a supermarket while her oldest son, Tatsuya, is the main breadwinner working at an advertisement company. The 2nd son, Riku, is a bit of a playboy and is the main cause of grief in the family. The youngest, Junpei, is the sweet hard worker. He takes care of the meals and household duties.
Tatsuya and his brothers are three good-lookers who, along with their useless live-wire of a mother, keep getting into all sorts of scrapes - in love and at work. This is the Sakurai household, where everything hangs loose and everyone always speaks their mind.
